Fine Arts Groups in Moore County
Moore County Choral Society
MCCS is a choral society of volunteer singers and presents two major choral concerts each year in December and April. We welcome new singers each season. Auditions are not required. Last season, singers from five counties joined MCCS. Singers range from high school age to adults. Student memberships are graciously underwritten by society members.

Moore County Concert Band
Membership is open to musicians who love and enjoy playing band music. Limitations may be put into place from time to time due to section size and room limitations. All ages are represented - from high school to retirees.

New Horizons Band in the pines
New Horizons Band in the Pines is for adults of all ages who want to make new friends and share their love of music. We welcome anyone who has some familiarity with music and has their own instrument. If you have not played for years (or decades!) and thought you never would again, our band is for you
