Panera Bread Fundraiser & MPO Open House
MPO holds open house registration twice a year at Panera Bread in Southern Pines. Each semester this is event is not only for registration; this is also a fundraising event for MPO. Open to all that wish to show support of Moore Philharmonic Orchestra.
Online & In store kiosk orders receive credit by using code FUND4U at checkout. Ordering with a host let them know you are there for Moore Philharmonic Orchestra.​​
Board members are present starting at 5:30 pm
Registration opens at 6:00pm
Painted Violin Raffle
MPO is holding a painted violin raffle. Tickets will on sale starting August 25th - December 13th. Each ticket will be sold 1 for $20 or 3 for $50. Drawing will take place during intermission at the
21st Annual Holiday Concert.
Proceeds will be applied to the MPO Scholarship Fund. MPO would like to thank the local artists for donating their time and talent on the beautiful violins. To purchase tickets CLICK HERE
Jane Mohr
Jane Mohr is a retired flight attendant, proud mother of three, and grandmother of four. A self-taught mixed media artists. Jane is currently a member of the Artist League of the Sandhills in Aberdeen, where she has exhibited, sold her work, and received multiple awards. She also regular participates in the Fine Arts Festival at the Campbell House, earning both sales and accolades there as well. Jane finds joy in card making, journaling and creating expressive pieces on large canvases.
Ernie Walters
Ernie Walters of Hamlet, NC. is a father of four and a grandfather of five. A lover of life who has also known deep pain. Ernie channels his experiences into art that reflects peace and beauty. Inspired by nature and guided by both observation and imagination, he creates works that aim to transport viewers from the stresses of everyday life to tranquil remote settings.
Jill Hartsell
Jill Hartsell has earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Art education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Jill has been teaching elementary art of over 25 years, she enjoys helping young artists find their creative spark. Outside of school she enjoys painting, making soap, and jewelry, and spending time with her backyard chickens. She is often out exploring with her spirited Airedale, Hera. Much of her inspiration comes from nature and the joy she finds in creating things by hand.
Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
MPO holds a pancake breakfast fundraiser twice a year at Kickback Jack's in Southern Pines.
Tickets include pancakes, side & drink for $10 each. Guests will also enjoy live music provided from MPO members.
Tickets can purchased from MPO members & at the door the day of the event.

Holiday Basket Raffle
MPO holds a themed basket raffle at each holiday concert. Multiple themed baskets are available.
Arrive early to purchase tickets for your chance to win!!
Basket contents are donations from MPO members.
These baskets have become quite the crowd favorite over the years.
Spring Raffle
MPO holds a spring raffle each year with donated gift cards from local business. Previous basket raffle values exceeding $500.
MPO is very grateful for not only the support of the individuals in our community, we are so appreciative of the support of so many local bussiness.
