20th Annual Holiday Concert

Hope. This word has become synonymous with the holiday season, but what does it truly mean? For some, hope is a brilliant reminder of better days to come, twinkling like a bright light on the cold winter night. For others, hope is the warm glow in the windows of the family home, a welcome reprieve from the frigid world around them. Such a feeling can be enough to bring comfort in these dark nights. It only grows more potent when it is shared with those around us.

We find ways to share this feeling through celebrations and moments of fellowship. We come together with armloads of gifts and plates stacked high with treats, eager to share our bounty with our loved ones. We decorate our homes with brilliant displays of lights and welcome our guests with music and merriment. Just as a candle shares its light, we share our joy by connecting with others in these moments. By chasing away the dark shadows of the winter season with love and laughter, the hope within us all burns brighter.

As musicians, we know the best way to share our holiday cheer is through performing for our community. This holiday season, the Moore Philharmonic Orchestra warmly invites you to the concert hall once more for an evening of carols and convivial camaraderie.

The Moore Philharmonic’s landmark 20th season continues with their annual Holiday Concert on Saturday, December 14th, at 7:00 PM at Pinecrest High School’s R. E. Lee Auditorium. Join us in celebrating the season with musical selections from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker”, jazzy arrangements of beloved holiday tunes, and more. Our annual Holiday Basket Raffle returns with an array of bountiful baskets - be sure to pick up a ticket for a chance to bring home a fabulous gift! Admission is a donation of choice; any amount is greatly appreciated. Donations go towards funding MPO’s operating costs and scholarship program.

Join us for a night of beautiful music and warm memories this holiday season. May our music warm your hearts and light the spark of hope within you once again.
